Shaista Falak is a Lecturer at the University of Technology Sarawak, Sibu, Malaysia. She holds a PhD in Rural Tourism and teaches marketing-related subjects, in addition to supervising undergraduate final year projects. Her research interests include rural tourism development and the promotion of STEM education among girls. She has been involved in an international collaborative research project aimed at encouraging young girls to develop data literacy and research skills.
Shaista is committed to creating engaging learning environments that promote practical application, critical thinking, and professional readiness, while contributing to initiatives that support inclusive education and community development.
