Diana A. Prelorenzo is a postdoctoral researcher in regional studies. She is currently based at the Public Health Intelligence Unit of the National Institute of Public Health in Mexico. Her research focuses on regional development examining spatial disparities through the health dimensions. She specifically investigates the relationship between social determinants and health outcomes to strengthen place-based public policies.
Diana says:
As an early career researcher, I am starting a pilot study on regional disparities and health inequalities in Mexico. This grant will help me strengthen my project, addressing gaps in health data on resources and infrastructure. I am sincerely grateful to the RSA for its continued support and trust in my research.
