We are pleased to announce a vacancy for a W2-Professorship for Spatial Planning and Governance at Universität Trier, Germany. The post is a permanent civil service position, which involves leading a research group within the geography cluster in Faculty VI (Spatial and Environmental Sciences).
We are looking for a scholar with proven expertise in the field of sustainable spatial planning and governance who will advance human geography discourses both theoretically as well as empirically in at least one of the following fields: (i) mobility/transport, (ii) energy (geographies), (iii) societal relations with nature or resources. Knowledge of the German planning system is required. Teaching responsibilities will include introductory and advanced human geography modules in German and English for BSc/BA and MA programs in Geography.
