We are recruiting a new cohort of doctoral researchers at our Excellence Cluster on „The Politics of Inequality“ at the University of Konstanz. The cluster is an interdisciplinary research center, bringing together scholars from political science, sociology, economics, linguistics, psychology and related disciplines to study the political causes and consequences of inequality. The individiual positions are a bit different, depending on whether they are affiliated with an ongoing project or independent. Further details can be found below. All provide funding for 4 years at a competitive salary level (75% TVL 13, which is about 3450 Euro gross per month at the beginning of employment).
The Cluster of Excellence “The Politics of Inequality” at the University of Konstanz offers doctoral positions to highly motivated graduates with an outstanding Master’s degree or equivalent, obtained in a field which is relevant to the Cluster’s research agenda. PhD candidates will pursue their doctoral research projects independently or as part of a project team in one of the Cluster’ interdisciplinary research projects.
Accepted applicants will be enrolled in the Graduate School of the Social and Behavioural Sciences according to their main discipline and will specialise in “Inequality Research”. More information about the PhD projects, the requirements and the Cluster can be found here:
