Lesa is responsible for managing and developing a wide-ranging programme of online and in-person conferences and events for the Regional Studies Association. Her role includes overseeing budget management, risk assessment, marketing strategy, and event performance analysis. She leads partnerships with external suppliers and partners, supervises staff and volunteer teams, and manages the CRM and event app systems to ensure smooth operations and continuous improvement based on delegate feedback.
Since joining the Association in 2012, Lesa has brought over two decades of experience in events and conference management across sectors including fashion, education, and government. She played a pivotal role in expanding the RSA’s international presence by successfully delivering landmark conferences in China and Brazil. Additionally, Lesa has been key to implementing and evolving the RSA’s digital membership and conference systems, contributing significantly to the organisation’s growth and strategic development.
