Frances is a post-doc researcher on the ‘What is Governed in Cities’ project, based at the Bartlett School of Planning, UCL. Her current research focuses on the governance of residential real estate investment in London, particularly around the housing crisis, risk strategies and the role of private sector norms. I completed my PhD at UCL, in Geography, in 2019. My thesis addressed the role of real estate developers in London and Johannesburg. Outside of my research I spend a lot of time chasing and being chased by my Labrador puppy, Oslo.
