The Chair of the RSA Hungary Section is Attila Korompai, emeritus Associate Professor, Corvinus University of Budapest.
“The RSA is a significant channel to key international issues for the Hungarian regional studies community. The main objective of the Hungarian RSA section is to support the growth of a network of Hungarian regionalists. The RSA Hungary Section provides information on RSA activities, encouraging Hungarian participation in RSA events and networks. The RSA Hungary Section is involved in locally organised events and in local scientific publications. In 2010 the RSA international conference was held in Pécs with the support of the Regional Research Centre of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences.
The present Hungarian Ambassador is Balázs Forman at the Corvinus University of Budapest.
Please feel free to contact me to discuss regional studies in Hungary.”
See the Hungary Section page for more details of local events.
