I am looking to hire a PhD researcher to join the project “Translating Brazilian Development Ideas in Africa” (TRABRADIA), funded by the Cluster of Excellence Africa Multiple at the University of Bayreuth in Germany.
The position focuses on the local adaptation of Brazil’s National School Feeding Program in Malawi in the context of South-South development cooperation and examined through the lens of policy translation. The successful candidate will conduct qualitative fieldwork in Malawi and Brazil and will have the opportunity to pursue a PhD at the Bayreuth International Graduate School of African Studies (BIGSAS).
Applicants should have a completed Master’s degree in Political Science, Sociology, Development Studies, African Studies, or a related field.
