I’m happy to invite applications for a PhD position in Human Geography at the University of Zurich to contribute to the Swiss National Science Foundation (SNSF) project ‘Institutional conditions for racially and/or socio-economically minoritized students at highly selective secondary schools in Switzerland’ (10/26-9/30). The post is for a fixed term of four years, with an initial appointment of three years and a one-year extension.
I am looking for a person holding a Master’s degree or is about to complete a Master’s degree in (Human) Geography or in a related field excited by the prospect of engaging with questions of (in)equality, justice, and institutional discrimination in the field of education and doing research with young people in German-speaking Switzerland.
