We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic research student to undertake a fully funded PhD on exploring, mapping and fostering Social Infrastructure.
The study will focus on the town of Staveley (Chesterfield) as a case study. The deadline for applications is October 10th.
We would welcome applications from candidates from a range of disciplinary areas and expertises, including: Public and Social Policy; Human, Social and Economic Geography; Planning, Architecture; Social Sciences (Social Capital and Social Infrastructure theory; Social Network Analysis). Experience or commitment to undertake mixed-methods, interdisciplinary research and knowledge of visual, mapping and participatory action research would be an advantage.
