We are pleased to announce that the European Commission’s Directorate-General for Regional and Urban Policy (DG REGIO) of the European Commission, in cooperation with Fundación CEER, has officially launched the Border Regions Peer Exchange on Solving Border Obstacles programme.
Organisations directly involved in b-solutions cases will have a unique opportunity to play an active role in this European initiative.
The programme aims to connect organisations behind b-solutions cases with stakeholders from Interreg programmes facing similar cross-border challenges. Through peer-to-peer exchange visits, host organisations will have the opportunity to present their experience, showcase implemented solutions, and contribute to strengthening territorial cooperation across Europe.
What is this call about?
A Call for Expression of Interest has been launched to select 10 host organisations from b-solutions cases. Selected organisations will host peer exchange visits (2–3 days) in their territory, welcoming stakeholders from Interreg programmes facing similar cross-border challenges.
Why become a host organisation?
Selected organisations will:
- Present concrete solutions developed through their b-solutions case
• Exchange knowledge and experiences with Interreg stakeholders
• Strengthen European cooperation networks across borders
• Contribute to shaping future approaches to tackling border obstacles
The visits are designed as practical, hands-on learning experiences focused on real cases and implemented solutions.
Who can apply?
The call is open to organisations linked to b-solutions cases since 2018, including:
- Entities identified as “advised entities”
• Organisations directly involvedin implementing a case
• Entities engaged in follow-up activitiesrelated to implemented cases
The selected visits will also contribute to a final European publication compiling lessons learned, shared practices, and synergies between b-solutions and Interreg programmes.
