4th FinGeo School

The 4th FinGeo School will be held at University of Bologna (Italy) on the 31st January – 1st February 2026. A great weekend not to be missed!
👉 This edition will focus on inspiring in-field research methodologies in Financial Geography.
👉 It targets early career researchers (Post-Grad, PhD students, Post-doc, etc), but it is open to anyone interested. We welcome all scholars, policy makers, professionals, practitioners, early, mid and senior interested in debating advances in financial geography in a high quality scientific, enriching and friendly environment.
👉 The programme will include 👨🏫 👩🏫traditional guest lectures, 🏟️ site-visits, 👓 field works applying research methodologies, research & career tips, and 🍷 🍹 🥂 😊 social/networking events enjoying the oldest university city in the world & its food and wine tradition (www.unibo.it)

Important dates
– 15 July 2025: Applications open (it can be done jointly with the registration to the seminar; see next post)
– 30 September 2025: Application deadline
– 31 October 2025: Communication of acceptance
