Last week, in his role as the Regional Studies Association’s new Head of Publishing, Tom Merriweather had the pleasure of visiting the Institute of Place Management (IPM) team at Manchester Metropolitan University. The visit was a valuable opportunity to learn more about the innovative work being carried out by the IPM and to explore potential avenues for collaboration between the Institute and the RSA.
Tom said:
It was a fantastic chance to hear more about the important work the IPM are doing and to start conversations about how the RSA and IPM can work more closely together. We share a lot of common ground, so there are many exciting opportunities for us to collaborate. I’m really looking forward to building on these conversations and finding new ways to bring our publishing and knowledge-exchange activities together.
We are particularly excited to announce the forthcoming Institute of Place Management and RSA Webinar Series, which will begin in October. This new initiative will provide a platform for sharing research and practice on place management and regional studies with our global communities.
