RSA European Foundation (RSA Europe)
The Regional Studies Association is pleased to announce the opening of RSA Europe. Following the UK referendum decision to leave the European Union, the Association's Board agreed that it would most effectively continue to serve its continental European membership through the establishment of an independent legal entity in an EU27 country. This Brussels-based RSA Foundation will also allow the Association to continue its work with the European Commission, European Parliament, Committee of the Regions and other EU institutions and European organisations.
Sally Hardy, CEO says "Following the decision to 'Brexit' it was clear that we would need to act to secure our service to members and RSA Europe gives us the mean to do this. We will strengthen our channels of work in Europe and continue to make connections within the regional studies and science community around the world."
