The Centre on Migration, Policy and Society (COMPAS), a research centre of the School of Anthropology and Museum Ethnography, is seeking a Researcher in Migration to join a busy research group. You will be involved in several major research projects examining the determinants and impacts of migration in different countries around the world.
Candidates should be quantitative social scientists with a relevant doctorate and a good research record on issues related to migration. The postholder will work closely with Carlos Vargas-Silva, and other academics at Oxford, in data collection, analysis and interpretation. The research aims to produce academic journal articles and impact migration related policies.
The initial appointment is on a fixed-term full-time basis for 12 months from 1 November 2019, but there is an expectation that this will be extended when external funding is confirmed.
