Postdoctoral Researcher interested in reforming European (greener) planning practice
In a world gone urban, cities do not do enough to help stop biodiversity loss and ensure liveable, resilient cities capable of weathering climate change. Are you looking for a postdoc and want to make a change, look no further! The successful candidate will be embedded in Horizon Europe-funded UGPplus, a transdisciplinary, close to practice project testing and evaluating the next generation of urban greening plans for European Cities. The project will develop a systemic approach to help broaden and strengthen urban greening and renaturing strategies and their integration in the policies and practices of European cities. UGPplus will test the process of establishing Urban Greening Plans in cities of different spatial and socio-economic contexts.
Starting date for this position is in January 2024, or as agreed with the candidate. Fully funded position for 3 years.
