The School of Hospitality and Tourism Management (HTM) at Purdue University invites Ph.D. applications for the academic year commencing August 2022.
HTM is a leader in graduate education. Our graduate programs were recognized as the number 1 program in a recent peer-reviewed study of hospitality and tourism programs. Purdue is ranked in the top 10 hospitality and tourism programs by ARWU and CWUR. Our graduates are successful faculty in hospitality programs around the world including University of Nevada Las Vegas, University of Central Florida, Michigan State University, Boston University, University of Queensland, University of Macau, and Hong Kong Polytechnic, to name a few.
The School’s three research centers in tourism, lodging, and food service offer opportunities for graduate students to work closely with faculty. As part of a major research university, we are able to offer qualified students access to courses in individual areas of interest, including foods and nutrition, public health, psychology, consumer behavior, communication, engineering, education, finance, management and organizational behavior, technology, community planning, sustainability, and others. This broad access to coursework combined with our support for individualized programs is designed to meet individual research and career goals.
Assistantships and other funding opportunities are available.
