LSE Fellow in Urban Planning and Geography
Salary from £36,647 to £44,140 pa inclusive with potential to progress to £47,456 pa inclusive of London allowance
This is a fixed term appointment for 13 months – estimated start date of 1st September 2021
The Department of Geography and Environment is seeking a full-time LSE Fellow in Urban Planning and Geography. The successful candidate will join one of the world’s leading geography and environment departments, which enjoys very strong international student demand across a wide range of graduate and undergraduate programmes.
The successful candidate will contribute to teaching in the Department at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as carrying out administrative duties.
The successful candidate will preferably have a PhD in a relevant subject or be close to completing it. In addition, the successful candidate will have a relevant background and expertise in the field of urban planning and geography, whose work could include, but is not limited to, urban policy and planning, social life of cities, urban geography, and experiential learning. Some experience of university-level teaching is essential
