Loughborough University is advertising a permanent lectureship in Geography, available at full time equivalent.
The position is broad – our intention is to appoint an outstanding early career academic in either human or physical geography with interests that complement our existing expertise to enhance our capacity. Our expertise in human geography includes migration, cities, education, and geographies of children, youth and families. In physical geography, research covers a wide range of cutting-edge topics including hydrological and ecosystem science, polar and alpine research, and the relationship between climate, water and energy.
We would especially welcome interest in the climate-energy-development nexus, which might bridge physical and human geography through wider considerations of sustainability and resilience.

Grade 7, £41,526 – £49,533 per annum. Subject to annual pay award.
In exceptional circumstances the University may offer a market supplement of up to 10% of the maximum salary quoted per annum.
