Doctoral and Post-Doctoral Fellowships in Higher Education and Human Development Research, University of the Free State, South Africa
The higher education and human development research group at the University of the Free State, led by Professor Melanie Walker, is offering three full-time doctoral fellowships and one full-time post-doctoral fellowship from 2020. The SARChI Chair in Higher Education and Human Development Research Programme offers a limited number of Doctoral and Postdoctoral Fellowships for South African and international students/fellows. The next round of applicants will be selected for the 2020 academic year with the closing date for applications being the 30th of September 2019.
We especially encourage applicants interested in higher education and human development in relation to; environmental justice, epistemic justice, gender justice, racism, pedagogic justice, reconciliation and justice, critical digital literacy and social media, political agency, institutional cultures, political economy, disability and justice. We encourage diverse approaches to research including participatory methods.
