CoR MOOC 2018: Make the most of EU resources for your region and city starting 15.01.2018

The 2018 massive open online course (MOOC) of the European Committee of the Regions continues online: 15 January 2018 – 14 January 2019.

Following the success of its two first MOOCs on “Europe's regions, the EU institutions and policy-making” (2015) and “the EU budget and funding for regions and cities” (2016), which reached more than 15,000 participants worldwide, the CoR launched a third MOOC focusing on “How to make the most of EU resources for regions and cities”. Join the 12,000 participants who already registered!   The course is free, open to anyone interested in EU and regional and local affairs, and accessible on all devices. It provides relevant information on present and future EU policies and programmes, as well as practical tools and examples of available funding opportunities at regional and local level.

The course is available on Iversity, an online learning platform, and includes videos, factsheets, infographics and web-streamed live debates with Q&A from the course participants. During the first six weeks of the course (15 January-23 February 2018), followers focus on one specific theme per week and evaluate their progress via assignments and a weekly quiz. Studying time is about 1.5h/week. The course material is online for one year, so that after the first six weeks learners can work through the course material in their own pace.

The course is co-created with several Directorates-General of the European Commission – Regional and Urban Policy; Budget; Employment, Social Affairs and Inclusion; Agriculture and Rural development; Eurostat – as well as the European Investment BankInterreg Europe and URBACT.
