We would kindly like to ask you to include the conference in your event calendar, your website and/or to share it through e-mail distribution lists.
When: 20 & 21 October 2022
Where: Haus der Regionen, Krems, Austria

Travel & Accommodation: We gladly offer logistical support. Unfortunately, costs for travel and accommodation cannot be covered by the organizers.
The conference program includes a keynote by Prof Simona Piattoni (University of Trento), three academic panels and an expert roundtable as well as a workshop. Panel 1 focuses on regional actors engaging in EU affairs, the second panel discusses contributions on the role of regions in the EU multilevel polity, and panel 3 critically assesses the often-assumed ‘closeness to citizens’ of regional actors. The roundtable aims at bringing together academics with experts from politics and administration to help further the exchange between these levels. The attached program contains further details.
Participation is possible both in person in Krems as well as online (Zoom), the conference language is English. We kindly ask for registering via e-mail under email@example.com until 5 October. A link for online participation will be sent via e-mail subsequently.
