CHASM is delighted to advertise two fully funded PhD studentships commencing in October 2022 or January 2023.
This doctoral research programme will aim to contribute to national policy discussions on financial wellbeing by undertaking quantitative analyses of the ways in which financial resilience grows or diminishes over time and the antecedents of such changes. The qualitative methods PhD will further our understanding through nuanced, qualitative data collection to better understand the dynamics of financial decision making and the support sought by individuals and households. It is anticipated that the Wealth and Assets Survey will be the main data source used for the quantitative PhD, whilst the qualitative PhD will require primary data collection.
The successful applicants will be jointly supervised by Professor Adele Atkinson, Dr Louise Overton and Dr Ellie Suh. For further information please click here – https://www.findaphd.com/phds/project/chasm-phd-studentship/?p145868
