1. POST-DOCTORAL POSITION IN SPACE-TIME DATA ANALYSIS FOR SPATIAL INEQUALITY DYNAMICS
The Center for Spatial Sciences (CSS) at the University of California - Riverside (UCR) is searching for a post-doctoral researcher in the area of spatio-temporal data analysis to work under the supervision of Professor Sergio Rey and in collaboration with CSS and UCR faculty. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in geography, statistics, or a closely related field as well as the potential or demonstrated ability to conduct independent quantitative research in spatial distribution dynamics in the context of regional inequality. Candidates will focus on model-driven analysis of the drivers and effects of income mobility, both generational and geographical. Candidates with experience in spatio-temporal data analysis, geocomputation, and Python are highly desired. Candidates with the potential or demonstrated ability to work within and contribute to a diverse campus environment are strongly encouraged to apply. The initial appointment will be for one year with the opportunity to extend the appointment for an additional two years, pending positive performance reviews and the availability of funding. The position is available starting October 1, 2017 and applications will be considered until the position is filled.

2. POST-DOCTORAL POSITION IN GEODEMOGRAPHIC DYNAMICS
The Center for Spatial Sciences (CSS) at the University of California - Riverside (UCR) is searching for a post-doctoral researcher in the area of neighborhood dynamics to work under the supervision of Professor Sergio Rey and in collaboration with CSS and UCR faculty. The successful candidate will have a Ph.D. in geography, statistics, planning, sociology or a closely related field as well as the potential or demonstrated ability to conduct independent quantitative research in geodemographics, and possess familiarity with US Census and related datasets. Candidates with experience in geocomputation and Python are highly desired. Candidates with the potential or demonstrated ability to work within and contribute to a diverse campus environment are strongly encouraged to apply. The initial appointment will be for two years with the opportunity to extend the appointment for an additional two years, pending positive performance reviews and the availability of funding. The position is available starting January 1, 2018 and applications will be considered until the position is filled.
