Developing Izmir: Round Table Discussion

This round table aims to discuss the progress of İzmir, a city whose aim is realize the vision of “Developing, Growing and Innovative Izmir”. İzmir is currently is the third biggest city and second most important seaport of Turkey. The city and its hinterland is pivotal trade hub in the region. With free zones, industrial zones, maritime opportunities, transport infrastructure as well as quality labour force, İzmir continues to add significant amount of value added to the economy.
The session brings three prominent persons in İzmir Economy. The three discussants are successful businesspersons and economic leaders in İzmir. They are also serving as level executives for professional associations.
The theme is to have the speakers express their opinions about the growth and development of İzmir.
